Job Summary

Key leadership role overseeing budgeting, fundraising, production finance, revenue & IP monetization, compliance, and corporate reporting.

Key Responsibility Areas
  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Strategy, planning, feasibility for slates/OTT/co-productions.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Film budgets across pre/production/post; approvals & risk control.
  • Fundraising & Investor Relations: Equity/debt/soft-money, SPVs, incentives, MG deals, transparent reporting.
  • Production Finance Oversight: Accounting controls, crew/location payments, profitability, waterfalls.
  • Revenue & IP Monetization: Track theatrical/OTT/satellite/international/music/digital/merch; royalties and splits.
  • Compliance & Risk: IT/GST/FEMA/Companies Act; audits, IP clauses, currency risk.
  • Corporate Finance & Reporting: Consolidated P&L/BS/CF, MIS, audits, KPI review.
  • Leadership: Build and mentor finance, accounts, legal, audit teams; uphold ethics.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: CA (ICAI) mandatory; MBA Finance preferred; CFA/CPA/LLB plus.
  • Experience: 7–8+ years in media/entertainment finance; deal structuring & co-productions.
Skills & Traits
  • Film finance, IP valuation, taxation & cross-border expertise.
  • Financial modeling, fundraising, negotiations, stakeholder comms.
  • Integrity, confidentiality, network with banks/investors/studios.
Working Conditions & Interfaces
  • Pune HQ with travel; flexible hours around closes/releases; valid passport.
  • Interfaces: CEO/COO/Producers/Legal/Marketing; investors, banks, tax authorities, distributors, OTT platforms.

  • Ability to manage multi-project, multicultural teams; extensive travel.
